Your Generac warranty might be kicked back if it is determined that non-Generac issued parts such as oil and air filters were used during maintenance.
Your oil needs to be replaced every 200 runtime hours or annually, whichever happens first, and, in the case of a long-term power outage, your engine needs to be allowed to cool down during this oil change.
